APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Probably between January and July 2010
BUDGET RANGE: $650 or less

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: movie watching, gaming, web surfing

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, mouse, monitor, os and speakers.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: United States

PARTS PREFERENCES: I would like to use an AMD CPU and a mid tower case.

OVERCLOCKING: No
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1024x768

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Hmm...lets see, first of all I don't know much about computer parts so I tried to answer the questions to the best of my abilities. Computer wise I'm looking to build a computer that can play at least blu-ray 720p movies without any hickups. My old dell e521 played 720p videos fine with a geforce 7300 le video card. After movie watching, I would like it to be able to handle casual to moderate gaming. I don't need all the settings on games to be maxed out or anything. Games I would like to play with normal video settings are: Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Call of Duty: Mordern Warfare & World at War, Command and Conquer Tiberious Wars and World at Conflict. The computer being noisy isn't a problem but I would like it to remain as cool (temp. wise) as possible (no liquid cooling either) and have a 1tb hard drive.

Include a list of any parts you have already selected with descriptively labeled links for parts:

If you don't need the Operating System, go with an ATI Radeon 5770.

The 4670 can handle modern games at high settings at a 1400 res, so it will be overkill for your current resoulution. I assume that you wanted a 1tb hdd so you can burn your Blu-Rays to your pc, if not, then you can lower the price of the build to $556 with this blu-ray reader here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
