How to overclock this processor?

I have an athlon xp 3200+ on this mother board deluxe. i'm not sure exactly what the motherboard is called. anyway i go into the cpu multiplier and change it to 12.5, which is its highest. when i do the computer does not start up. i need to know the exact settings to use to get this computer to perform at its fastest. thank you.

Yes it is being a dated CPU is exactly why it needs overclocking. You need to increase any settings you change slowly to see when you get problems.
