Hey Guys,

I want your opinions on whether or not an SSD is worth it right now.
I will be mainly using my computer for gaming

Intel Core i7 3930k
Gigabyte G1 Assassin 2
GTX 580
Antec HCG 900
16gb G-Skill ripjaws z
Seagate Barracuda 1tb

Thanks in Advance

Worth it x2 One of the best investments you can add to a PC. You can't go wrong with Intel, or Crucial. That is a nice build your working on and it just wouldn't be right without a SSD.

Absolutely worth it, the only reason not to get an SSD is if you can't afford it.

I got the Mushkin Chronos Deluxe 240GB, its one of the fastest SSD's on the market and it is awesome. You will wonder how you ever used a PC without one.

Don't be turned off by info you will see out there about tons of people with problems with the sandforce controllers on most SSD's, these issues have been fixed for several months. I have never once had a BSOD, a freeze, or a crash with my SSD in the 4 months I have had it.
