is my mcp61pm-gm motherboard upgrade compatible for an amd 2 quad core 605e
a c 159 à CPUs
a c 435 V Motherboard

It should post; the 605e only uses 45 watts. The board might list it as "unknown cpu" but it should still run. Where did you find the 605e. I can't find it anywhere in the usa.

Found the 605e on the Buy.com website for $151.00

Let me guess...
you're trading out a 235e dual for a 605e quad right?
I asked this same exact question in the ECS mobo section:

an obvious 'yes' is the answer due to the fact both run at 45 watts.
As long as it is under 89 watts the GM will run it.
