solutions to a machine that is not booting up.

please provide some more information regarding the subject.
such as, does it even start? and if so, what does it say? any beeps while booting?

Dead PSU, dead motherboard, dead hard drive, dead memory, electrical short, bad electrical outlet, bad surge protector, etc. etc. etc.

This list would just go on and on forever. A more descriptive post would get a more descriptive response.

Does the machine not power on at all (as in, no fans moving, no noise, no lights or sound)?
Or, does it simply not get into Windows (or whatever Operating System you're using)?
