500 GB Seagate external hard drive problem

my hard drive not opening...............

You said External HDD not opening.
1. Is it a new HDD
2. If it is not new, was it working fine before
3. Did anything change on your PC
4. Is it being recognized in your PC as a drive
5. If it is recognized, are you double clicking and it is not opening up

You said it is not being recognized in your PC.
Lets try this:
Connect your External Drive to your PC
Right click on Computer >> Manage >> Disk Management
Does your drive appear here with a letter assigned to it (like D: or E: and so on) or does it appear just as Disk 1 or Disk 2 etc. If no letter is assigned, right click on drive and assign a letter to your drive.

Alright - can you plz try connecting this external HDD to some other PC and see if you are able to open that.

i have already connected to other pc but not able to recognised.
