Hi I am looking to add more ram. I would like to get a dual Kit. I have a Asus P5N-E SLI. Curently I have (2X512MB) PC6400 DDR2/800. I am currently running XP but may move to 7. So I think 4GB would best. Thank you for your help.

If you want to use windows 7 64 bit, get a 2x2gb kit of crucial, corsair, kingston, or hynix (samsung) pc6400. You can go for faster ram, but not mix it with your old stuff. If you want to match the brand of your old ram, check it using cpu-z, a free download.

Yes u can upgrade. But 32 bit operating systems don't support 4GB RAM.
It will show u 3.5GB or 3.25GB of RAM.
In windows 7 32 bit, it will show 4GB (3.5GB usable).
So, If u upgrade ur RAM, please install 64 bit OS. (if u want to get the full performance)
