What the hell

guys...some old dude's Pentium 4 computer is on operation(assuming on fan running) but the monitor is not displaying anything while peripheral connection is spot on!!! what is a common problem?

Does it do it's little bios beep? Could quite possibly be faulty hardware right there.

Make sure the monitor is plugged into the graphics card and the card is securely plugged into the board, you have no idea how often that has happened to people I know. They always seem to plug it into onboard instead of the card.

Reset cmos? Try a card if you have it sitting around, could just be a shitty chip. Also, test bare minimum stuff first, without HDD and stuff, you want to get it to post before attempting further.

Uhh, that would work, but I meant using the jumpers on the board.
