am using Rivatuner 2.24 and it says that my HIS 4850 is idling at 26c. i find it a little strange considering that this is a 'hot' card. thoughts?

thanks guys, i did some stress testing and it got up to 66 degrees C, so in thinkin it could be the good airflow my case has and the fact that my 4850 is one of the caseless ones, with just the heatsink and fan.

Like everyone said, use GPU-Z to monitor temps and you can log the temps onto a file as well for future reference. Also, the reason for the card being so cool may be because you have a aftermarket cooler already installed, good airflow in your case. Although good airflow by itself wouldn't make the card go such low temps, it must a good aftermarket cooler because stock coolers aren't that good and those aren't "normal temps".
