Gigabyte RMA, what should I expect?

Like all product support, I've heard some really bad and good things about Gigabyte's RMA. I recently sent in a motherboard of mine and I was wondering how I could check the status of it without calling them everyday. I understand that Gigabyte India has a live tracking but I haven't been able to find one for the US branch. Anyone know a website or a better way to track it?

How has your experience played out? I'm still waiting to get my RMA approved. It's been 6 days since I got an e-mail from them stating that they recieved my request ,but still no RMA #!

I had to call them whenever I wanted to actually check but they were courteous about it and gave me the information. It took them about 2 weeks for the motherboard to get back to me (including the shipping)

I received an email from gigabyte that my request was under approval and that they would issue a RMA in 2 working days :bounce:  ... this was Mon 7/16/2012 5:51 PM today is :fou:  Saturday 8/18/2012 12:43 AM and have not heard a word from GB since. My next board will be manufactured by, anyone else :pfff:  . and I have yet to find a working number to actually ask about it.

they have thier phone number listed under the contact us section of thier website... 1-626-854-9338 http://www.gigabyte.us/about-gigabyte/contact-us.aspx

I used the number to call and get a status update earlier this week.
I have rmaed 3 products with gigabyte so far this year and the response has been 2 days for each one. (time to get the product back varried)

I do whish they had a live status system for us...
