Trying to build a cheap gaming PC, here are some basic builds I came up with. Feel free to put some input in as I don't know if the PSU will be enuff to support the cards.

320Gb Western Digital WD3200KS SATA2 Hard Drive $84.00
4096Mb A-Data Vitesta Gaming Edition DDR2-1066 Memory Kit $166.00
Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L Motherboard $86.00
Gigabyte GV-N98TGR-512I 9800GT PCIE Video Card, 512MB DDR3 $172.00
Vantec TSX-300 Mid ATX Steel Tower Case, 460w PSU, Black $162.00

well if you wanna save a bit get 800mhz ddr2 ram
for the amd build get a gigabyte/asus 770 board they tend to be cheap the am2+ using ddr2 ram even more so but with ram prices so close between ddr2 and ddr3 the am3 version 770 amd board will be better

the amd 240 and e6300 perform similar but i think the amd x3 425 cost the same as the e6300
