Crashes

Hello,my dell optiplex crashes and starts and loads to the windows screen and then stars all over again please help as i have windows xp previously istalled on another computer which was not a dell,,,please help

Press F8 and disable automatic restart.
Do U get a blue screen error?
If not, press F8 and see if you can get to safe mode.
Have U installed any new software/hardware recently?
If U can get to safe mode, do a system restore. Or try to load only basic drivers from msconfig, and we'll see.
