Quick thermal paste question. Tags: CPUs Heatsinks Thermal Compound Last response: February 26, 2010 7:59 PM in CPUs Share fang273 February 26, 2010 7:51:31 PM My cpu came with thermal paste on the heatsink already and it didn't come with an extra tube or anything. Is that fine, or should I clean it off and replace it? If I do have to replace it, I have an unopened tube from about 2 years ago, does thermal grease ever go bad or is it still fine?
