Quick thermal paste question. Tags: CPUs Heatsinks Thermal Compound Last response: February 26, 2010 7:59 PM in CPUs Share fang273 February 26, 2010 7:51:31 PM My cpu came with thermal paste on the heatsink already and it didn't come with an extra tube or anything. Is that fine, or should I clean it off and replace it? If I do have to replace it, I have an unopened tube from about 2 years ago, does thermal grease ever go bad or is it still fine? If not the stock thermal paste is fine. just watch your temps during times your CPU workload is high, if you are fine with them you are good to go. | Report abuse Ask the community Publish Tom's Hardware>Forum>CPUs>Quick thermal paste question.> Related ressources: ForumQuick thermal paste question ForumThermal Paste Quick Question ForumQuick Thermal Paste Question ForumQuick CPU + Thermal Paste Question ForumThermal paste Question need a QUICK answer !!!
