Slow Pc??

C2DUO 3 ghz
2 gb ram
9600 gt card

My problem is that my pc start very slowly when i switch it on it loads several things before my operating windows shows up, windows speed is fine but its slow when it starts, what might be the problem?
i remember i had P4 before and it was relatively fast.. thanks.

Hey, mine does that too, it's to do with things you have installed that run on startup.
