Hi
I want to get a new heatsink to reduce the noise of my phenom II x4 965 stock fan.

for the moment I am locking for the zalman CNPS9700NT and the Noctura NH-C12P SE14.

which one would work best to reduce noise and keep the heat lower.

beside that im open to suggestion but I only have 148mm of free space from the mobo to the side pannel.

More about : wich heatsink fan cnps9700nt c12p se14

do you think its a good idea to get a zipang2 and change the fan for a Silenx IXP7414 iXtrema Pro Fan - 120mm x 25mm, 14dBA, 72CFM, FDB bearing ?

because on the spec of the zipang2 its written 51CFM and 22dBA

get something that can hold a 120mm fan. the bigger the fan the slower it can rotate and still produce the same amount of air flow. the slower it spins the less noise.
