What motherboard should I get?

I'm planning on buying these parts from newegg

-AMD Phenom II X4 965 125w
-G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600
-Nexus PWM Series 80mm case fan
-ENERMAX MAGMA 120MM CASE FAN
-CORSAIR H50 push/pull

And I already have...
-2x Ati Saphire 5850 gpu
-Ultra x3 1000w PSU
-Thermaltake v3 case


So far I've been planning on getting the MSI 870A-G54 but I want to know if theres a better motherboard around that price range on newegg that runs crossfirex and has sufficient fan headers. Ive also been looking at the Gigabyte GA-880GA-UD3H and the ASUS M4A87TD EVO. Any suggestions on a motherboard or anything else I should buy. I'm also planning on overclocking my cpu to 4.0ghz. Thanks

Here are a few recommendations...

GIGABYTE GA-890XA-UD3 AM3 AMD 790X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard

I would try and go with a motherboard that has Crossfire at x8,x8 minimum versus x16,x4... IMO

Not good for X-fire... 16x and 4x on the pcie slots

You want at least 8x - 8x or a board that will do 16x - 16x (790fx or 890fx)

I've had personal success with Gigabyte. Used them last 4 builds... 2 years ago I had a motherboard fail after using it about 1.5years, but then had me a new one in about 10days.

yeap, get a 890/790 FX based board (should be FX not GX or G or other variant) will get you crossfire at x16 speeds for both pci-e slots
