Agility 3 60GB on Asus P5q-e

Hi,

I just bought a Agility 3 60GB. I have an ASUS P5Q-E so I am running on SATAII instead of SATAIII.

I ran the AS SSD benchmark and I have the following:

Read: Write:
Seq: 199.3 MB/s 77.09 MB/s
4K: 17.71MB/s 65.38 MB/s
4K-64 Thrd: 48.63 MB/s 73.43 MB/s
Acc. time: 0.099 ms 0.259 ms

I have AHCI enabled in the BIOS.

Also, I have the following on Device manager: IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers:
Intel(R) ICH10R SATA AHCI Controller.

Does these speed are correct? the write speed seems low to me.

What can I do to have better speed??

Advertised AS-SSD speeds for your drive are "up to" 180 MB/s Read and 65 MB/s Write.

You are getting 110% of advertised reads and 118% of advertised writes.

If you are looking for the advertised 280 MB/s Read and 260 MB/s Write you have to benchmark with ATTO software.
