I have problem with my hard disk

i am havin seagate sata hard disk 160gb .. i using it for last 3 yrs.. but now it shows more space ie. 256gb.. is tis a problem or not..please suggest me what 2 do......

The first thing to do is to run a scan disk, In Explorer right click on the drive, select Properties, select tools, then click on the scan now button, start.
