Advice around $550 (flexible) Multimedia

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: within the next month

BUDGET RANGE: 450-650

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Movies- I want to use this mainly for watching and story 1080p movies, Gaming, Internet browsing,

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: monitor (I'm using my giant HDTV...), speakers, OS, Disk Drive (I'm gonna use old one)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg

PARTS PREFERENCES: I do not care. AMD since its cheaper I guess

OVERCLOCKING: some

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Not now, maybe in future

MONITOR RESOLUTION: As high as it gets for a 1080p HDTV so i guess that would be 1920x1080?

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I'm not really sure what I'm doing so don't be hating, I'd like this pc for mainly HD movies and some light gaming almost entirely an entertainment computer, also I'd like to keep it quiet and just slightly blingy with the case

  1. Please help make this list cheaper as well
  2. The 5770 can handle modern games at high settings at 1900 res. The 425 gives solid performance in modern games, and can handle hd movies easily. The hdd here gives the same performance as the f3, except that its $5 cheaper. There are so many choices for mice, and keyboards that I figured you want to pick that yourself.

That would be fine. Its a crossfire motherboard, so if you want to add another card in the future, you may want to get at least a 600w psu though.
  7. ^+1 for that and the build.

Also, if possible swap out case some thing bigger. I doubt the 5770 will fir in the Antec 200.
