1366x768 LG W1943S with Sapphire ATI HD 4870 1GB

Hi,

I'm about to make a purchase on a tight budget and was curious if the LG W1943S and Sapphire ATI HD 4870 1GB combination would work out. I plan to use the PC for games I missed in the past 5-6 years and wouldn't mind replacing the graphic card a year or two down the lane if required.

Other information:
AMD Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition
ASUS M4A77TD PRO
4 GB DDR3 Kingston

Out of topic can i use any other same volt adapter and if the plug isnt same can i take out the old plug n switch to the new plug
