The speed of transfer between USB 3.0 and SATA 3

I want to ask you the speed of transfer between USB 3.0 and SATA 3

USB 3.0 has a theoretical transfer speed of 5Gbit/s
SATA 3 has a theoretical transfer speed of 6Gbit/s
It has been reported that none of those speeds has been attained in actual usage - SATA 3 is faster though.
