GHz gaming

Does GHz really matter when I comes to gaming if so is 3.3GHz good for gaming????

  1. It matters but what also matters is the CPU technology. A 3.0Ghz Sandy Bridge will be way better than a 3.3Ghz Wolfdale for instance. Anyway unless your CPU is really old 3.3Ghz will be good enough for most games
  2. the ghz labels the speed on which a processor works, the processors architecture/core count represents how much data can go through at that speed, both are important.
