Computer only reads 1TB HD as 200MB

I added a 1TB SATA hard drive to a case. BIOS reads it as 1TB. Windows 7 OS reports that the drive is 200MB and will not reformat it. I have reconnected cables, pulled and replaced cables, and no joy. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear your 1TB SATA Drive is being detected as only 200MB.
Did you check Disk Management (Computer >> Manage >> Disk Management)
What do you see there - 200 MB or 1TB.
Post the result here.
Also try to back up all your DATA using Recuva - http://www.piriform.com/recuva
