CPU upgrading

Hello,
is there any benefit of running an Athlon II or Phenom II with my m2nsli deluxe? I know the HT will be restricted. Will WinXP 32-bit run more than 2 processors on it?
I know they will run (up to 95 watt). I don't know if I will gain much benefit.

Windows XP 32-bit can run at least 8 processing threads that I'm aware of; so using a quad-core CPU on XP will be fine, however that board is only an AM2 board, so I doubt you won't be able to run those CPUs.

I already checked CPU compatibility. The quad core Phenom IIs and Athlon IIs will work up to 95 watts. The board is not rated to run any CPU over 95 watts.
