I have tried a couple times to overclock my processor. Its not a black edition unlocked so its a little harder to do. Plus the BIOS isn't the most conducive to overclocking. My stock speed is 2.8ghz i'm looking to get at least 3ghz and maybe a little higher but nothing huge.

My motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2P

I have to hit ctrl+F1 to bring up the advanced chipset features to overclock. I have spent hours looking online to try and find out how to overclock on it. All of the videos and tutorials I have seen about overclocking on this AWARD bios look slightly different and have more option than mine has.

Hopefully i'm missing something big and someone can point it out and if you've overclocked a phenom II 925 If you could tell me what frequencies and multipliers you used that would be great.

I have a corsair cx600 power supply,
Thermaltake A4022 cooler (I also have a FX stock cooler sitting around if that better)
And lots of case fans

I would suggest looking for a BIOS update on the GIGABYTE website, it may open the features you are seeing in videos and tutorials.

Maybe that will help.
