Hi guys here are two builds I am comparing. I will bite the bullet and go for the AM3 as it gives the oportunity to upgrade in the future. Any feedback on compatability or ideas are very welcome

Go for the AM3, it may cost a bit more now but as time goes on you can upgrade it more. Also DDR3 RAM is finally down enough to justify it.

Oh, you already have DDR2 RAM. I'd say sell whatever spare parts you have on ebay and go for 4 gigs of DDR3. The rest is fine as is for the AM3 mobo build, since almost all of the rest is the same parts between the two.
