Well its kind of hard to say if the build is good or not if we don't know what its for. If its an office/workstation pc, then you would want a quad. If its a videogame pc, then your going to want a gpu, unless you already have one. But its kind of a waste to spend so much cash on a fancy case, mobo, ram, cooler/heatsink. You could cut back on those parts, and save a lot of money to put in a gpu or a stronger cpu.

Looks like an excellent build. I am telling you this judging by what different technitians have said. If you are looking to buy a really good video card, you could get a motherboard for half the price of the one you've got on there, and switch to ddr2 ram. Though ddr3 is quickly becoming popular, you will still have excellent gaming performance.

i have an HD 4770 that i will move over, as well as an optical drive. Yes, not the best card...but I will wait for the HD 4850's to drop to a reasonable price.
the PC will be used primarily for gaming, some internet and productivity.
Fancy? I feel most of what i chose is quality, but not fancy...am i wrong?

Nah, all your stuff is good. I just thought you wanted a gpu, so I was thinking if you cut back on some parts you could use that money to get a gpu, thats all. But since you already have a gpu, thats unnecessary. So, like I said its all quality stuff, and good picks. Sorry for the confusion.
