I have 2 nVidia GTX 260s in SLI and it is my understanding that the GPUs cannot pass audio through HDMI to my TV. My solution is to add a cheap 4650/4550 to my motherboard to send a signal to LCD TV 20 feet away. Would this solution work? If so, does anyone have any experience with this. I also don't care if my PhysX fails because I would have an ATI GPU

If you're using Vista, then I don't think it will work. You can't have two different video drivers running at the same time. But with XP or Windows 7, I believe it should work.

Some Nvidia cards have a plug where you can connect your motherboard's audio to your video card via a cable and then pass it through hdmi. You should check if your cards have that option.
