[Solved] Computer hangs after post (unless there\'s a bootable CD in tray)

Hi,

I am unable to boot my computer from CD ROM

When i restart my system i get a black screen with the cursor blinking on the top left corner and remains so for an infinite period.

Please note the CD works fine on any other system and also i havn't used this system (Pentium 3 model) for a period of 2 years and i have set the option to boot from CD Rom in BIOS setup.

Kindly assist.

Clean the lens in the CD Drive.
