Hello, I have a Syba SY-PEX40032 Raid controller installed on my machine w/ 2 2TB drives connected to it in Raid0 and running under Windows 7. I've come to notice that if my machine falls asleep, and i'm assuming for a long period of time, when i awaken it the drives connected to the controller are missing, if i "Scan for Hardware Changes" in the device manager to look for them i get a BSOD. Restarting re-finds them, any ideas?

If you go into the device manager and find the controller card, you may be able to go into it's properties. If you find this, Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power, uncheck it so that windows doesn't put the controller to sleep.

If you can't find the setting there, you may be able to under your power profile.
