Hello all!

I have an Acer AM1201-ED5000A PC. When I came in after the weekend, the PC was on, but was not responding.

After reboot, I get no BIOS screen. I took the memory out and restarted, and still nothing.

My guess is is that the motherboard is shot. Looking for a second opinion.

Is there anything I can do to verify it's the motherboard? Processor? Hard drive is spinning fine.

Thanks!

Reset the bios. With the system turned off (unplug the power supply), try moving the cmos jumper over one position keeping 2 of the 3 pins covered, then return to their original position after one minute. Or remove the motherboard battery for one minute and reinstall. If the system still doesn't reboot, either the board or power supply may need replacing.
