Hi, i'm a complete noob to these things, so any help is greatly appreciated :)  . I'm looking to get a new video card for pc games, in particular Mass Effect 2. I'd also like to be able to play most of the recent games smoothly on medium settings. I was thinking of getting the ATI Radeon 4670 (mostly due to price), however if there were any recommendations please say so. Otherwise, i was wondering if my PC met the requirements of the ATI Radeon 4670. Here's my pc specs:

Dell OptiPlex 755
Intel Core 2 Duo - 3 GHz
2 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 2400 (256 MB)

If there's any more info you need just tell me. Thanks in advance for the help :)  .

The HD4670 is a good card for low resolution gaming. It should work fine with your computer. The only issue would be if your Dell case is low profile(noticeably skinnier than a normal computer)

Thanks a lot for the reply. I think my case isn't low profile, so hopefully it should be okay. So does that mean it would be unwise to play a game in 1280x1024?

There is nothing wrong with playing at that resolution. It just doesn't look as nice as higher resolutions, but if your system can't handle higher settings, that works just fine.

1280x1024 is considered low resolution these days and an HD4670 should handle it pretty well.
