I just finished putting my computer together, and I am at a screen saying reboot computer and select a drive to boot from, but my computer wont open my optical drive to load a disc in. I have my ODD and my HDD in sata ports, sata 1 for HDD, and ODD is in sata 3. in the bios, it showed that it was recognizing the ODD, and when I press the button, the green light turns on, but nothing happens. I cant be sure if the ODD runs at all when I press it, since I have quite a few fans running on my case.

Find a paper clip and unwind one of the ends. Take the end of the paperclip and stick it into the small hole on the front of the drive. Push hard. The platter door should pop open. Check to make sure that there is nothing obstructing the door, then carefully push the door shut. Push the open button again to see if this freed the stuck door.

If this does not work, pull another ODD from another and try it.

Good luck.
