XP Boot CD

Where can I download an XP boot CD. I'm not looking for a full XP cd, one to ware I can boot and install winxp from i386 folder burned to cd.

you would have to purchase Windows XP from microsoft. if you dont own a windows xp license, then try Linux instead.

Ubuntu and Fedora are operating systems based on the Linux kernel. There are many operating systems that use the Linux kernel (sometimes these are called "Linux distros"). I recommend either Fedora 17 or Ubuntu 12.04.

I have a license on the back of my dell, and it came with an i386 folder. I've burnt the i386 folder to disk cause the HDD is failing. I just need a simple xp boot cd.

If U use your preinstalled i386 folder, it's ok and it is possible, but it's a bit tricky. U need to make a few additional files. Then burn it as a bootable cd.
And it is likely that it will only work on your system.

Is it possible to install from windows pe 3.0 if i copy the i386 folder to flash drive.

Thanks for the tutorial,all from but found it a lot easier just to inst a Windows PE disk :D
