I am trying to install 2 new 1.5 TB drives into my home computer that supports Windows XP Professional. The 2 new drives have been installed and I have a SATA system, not IDE. I am trying to get the mirror selection on the 2 new drives, however the mirror selection is not available. One youtube video indicated that I need to have a SCSI and RAID Controllers in device manager but it does not list this...I am assuming that I do not have this on my computer. Is this a free download or is there another way to set up my RAID 1 on my computer...? Please help...Thanks Tim

If the chipset on the motherboard does not support RAID natively, then yes you would need to get a raid controller.
