Memory issue please help

I put together my new build yesterday and in order to get windows to load i had to install a different memory im wondering if i had a fauily chip, or is it something that i need to adjust in BIOS to get it to work. Basically while loading windows right after it exits DOS but before entering windows the system blue screens then resets. I'm running an AMD 955 w/ ATI 5850

(Failed while loading windows) : Corsair 4gb DDR3 1600MHz 7-8-7-20 1.65v XMS3

(works great ) : Corsair 4gb DDR3 1333MHz 9-9-9-24 1.50v XMS3

The best way to answer this question is by using MemTest86+. MT86+ runs in a DOS environment and has absolutely no effect or influence on or from Windows.

1. Go to www.memtest.org and download the lastest disc image (.iso) file.
2. Burn the image to cd.
3. Shut down computer.
4. Swap to the questionable RAM.
5. Turn on computer.
6. Test runs automatically.

I leave the newest copy of Memtest86+ on my hard drive and use a DOS boot CD then I choose where on the HDD to run MT410.
