PC restart over and over ater verifying web treat through McAfee

My Desktop ( COMPAQ ) after following the Links to verify that my PC could access the web (according to the news media) on Monday.....well, towards the end of the verification, a McAfee logo popped in the middle iof my screen and asked me If I wanted McAfee to verify accessability...I clicked yes'''''
well, that was the last time my PC ever came up. Now it restarts over and over, and doesn't even go into 'Safe Mode' and I don't have a rescue Disk.
What are my options and how much amI looking at?
