This is my first real build. I tinker around with computers sooo much. but like, I've never dealt with anything AMD or built a computer from scratch before. My friend sold me on AMD over Intel :$ so I went for it.

so far, I have purchased what I know will work it it for sure.

and

64 bit windows home premium

i dont know what ram to pick, i prefer g skill. but i dont know what mhz i should buy.

Also gpu wise, i dont know yet.

This entire rig is going to be updated eventually, my cpu to a phenom, the power supply, and probably crossfire graphics. but i want to make sure everything will work first, thats what i want to know. Also, any guilds on installing stuff. like how do you go about it ? :p i dont know how to install like the hard drive and disk drives and stuff

i might just buy 4 x 1gb sticks of g skill ram at 1066, thats probably the simplest solution for what i want. (this build is just to get me ready for a more complected build im doing in a year or so. either way, i have 2x256mb ddr333 sticks right now ;) so like, 4Gb of 1066mhz would easily be 3x as fast i would think, and the extra ram will be needed for windows 7 and some light starcraft 2 gaming i would think
