1055T Overclocking - total newbie

Basically I would like to overclock my 1055t, I know how to edit the settings such as FSB and core clock in the BIOS, but I have no idea what to put them to, as every time I have tried beforehand it has resulted in instability.

3.5GHz is the clock I would like ideally from my 1055t.

My hardware is as follows:
1055t@ Stock with a H60 Cooler
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
8GB (2x 4GB) Corsair Vengeance (big heatsink kind) 1600MHz CAS9
2x 6950 2GB CFX.

I would be very grateful if people could suggest settings and methods for overclocking my processor.

Thanks, I've read and understood that article.
However, I can't tell where to start. I have disabled the things that want disabling and stuck my RAM down to stock, but I don't know where to start.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks that's great.
Would there be a significant change/drop in performance by making the RAM run at 1305MHz like he does? Would it be better to have the CAS8@ 1305MHz and CPU @ 3.4GHz as opposed to CAS9 @ 1600MHz and CPU @ stock?
  4. not really!

Cool, so in terms of gaming which one would perform better? The overlock with slower RAM or stock with faster RAM?

Thanks for your replies you've been very helpful :).
