Is it possible to send an audio file over modem to a handset all while speaking with the person??
Any help is appreciated.

Are you Looking to send an music file to a person which will enable him to listen over the phone? If so the quickest and easest way is to use your handset and play the music file via your sound card, with your speakers near the phone. If you try to send a file via your modem to a handset all the other person will hear will be the Beeps and Squeaks of modem talk.

Any voice modem will do the trick (data/fax/voice or data/voice... whatever). Not sure what software you'd use though...

I have a voice modem set up at home to play on-hold music if necessary (and it's primarily my answering machine).
