On counter-strike 1.6 little lag spikes

Hey, I'm new to this forum but someone recommended this site for computer questions and gaming questions basically i have been playing cs 1.6 for 7-8 years lag free but recently i have been getting these lag spikes not latency or FPS lag. I'm on wired internet. I've tried updating my video driver on both cards i have. still nothing it happens every so often.

So please can anyone come up with some solutions i am at a deadend here with this.

It might be due to the servers that you are connecting to. Does it happen to every random game server that you join? Or just one of the ones that you play often.
