Hello, my windows xp hang up at first black screen with bios configuration, whenever i restart. but when i switch my computer off and again on it then it works properly.

Boot from Windows CD - Repair the OS.
Or run sfc /scannow from command prompt (Will need Windows CD to repair)

Try to unplug and re-install the RAM otherwise Repair The OS.
