3D gaming monitor or regular lcd.

For the additional price it certainly isnt worth it to me, you also need a high end nVidia card to make use of it. I dont think it will work with that monitor as it does not list that it is 120Hz which most that are will do. Its a lot of extra money for a feature that doesnt work in all games and may not make game play anymore enjoyable.

As far as 3d monitors go there are only two out: a Samsung and a Viewsonic. The Samsung has a slightly better image quality but lots of tech issues.

In January Acer is coming out with a 23.6" 16:9 (1080p native) 3d monitor that should be much better. Wait for that.

Also the glasses are stupidly overpriced. Both 3d monitors have dropped by about $200 in 6 months but the glasses have held at $200 the whole time.

Nvidia needs to drop the price the price on those glasses drastically.
