Hey guys.

Right, right now I have a 120GB Corsair Force GT as my OS drive and a 1TB Hitachi drive as my... everything else.. drive..

The problem is that when I start up my computer. I get the error message "A disk read error has occurred. Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to restart"

I've searched ALL over the internet and couldn't find a solution. The funny thing is... this error message doesn't happen all the time... sometimes it powers up and boots perfectly fine into my windows 7 64 bit installation. Other times, I get the error message. It just seems random!

I've already set my bios options to AHCI (yes before installing my OS).

Let me know if you need any other details of my PC from me. Please help!!

P.S. This is a new computers. Built it myself.

Hi CompoundAce. Did you get any resolution to the issue/problem? I have a similar setup, 120GB SSD, and get the same error message on booting up - again not all the time. Will keep looking on forums for an answer.
Cheers,
