Can you put a 2.5' into a desktop computer?

Hey Guys


Im wondering if its worth saving money and keeping the 300GB HDD in my Laptop now and put it into my new building I'm making and save that money and buy an SSD. I then later intend to buy a 1TB HDD when the "Global Hard Drive Shortage" is over.

So my question is, Can I fit a 2.5' into a Desktop computer (My new build).

A lot of times they will my come with an adapter too. My Corsair did.
