I had a Gateway PC with Vista 7. It appeared that my hard drive was starting to go bad, so I bought a new Seagate hard drive and transferred my files to it and installed it in my Gateway. I was still having problems, so I bought a new Dell 570, and took the hard drive out of my Gateway and am using it as my external hard drive for the Dell. It set up the external drive as the K drive. I want to transfer my files, documents, music, photos, etc. to my new computer, but for some reason, I can't seem to accomplish this. Does somebody have an idea how to do this?

I ended up dragging over the files that I wanted in the new computer.
