yep, according to hardware secrets a i5 2500k @4.5GHz will have about a 50C delta temp (difference from ambient if you dont know :p )

the one you pointed out, and as i said... the delta, meaning if your room is 20C it will be 70C under full load

Hyper 212 EVO will be perfectly fine for a 4.5ghz OC.

I can hit 4.5ghz on my i5-2500K with 1.236V with load temps of 50-60C and an ambient room temp of 22.5C. Then again, I have an extremely good chip.

Prebuilt water cooling (such as the H60 or H80) are an absolute waste of time, and a H80 probably won't be any quieter

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... gives about the same performance of an h100, 20$ cheaper

agreed

I don't think so. The V3 has a height limit of less than 160mm. My V4 won't fit it and it is wider than the V3. If I were you this cooler is the best.

horrible advice if he wants to spend 80 dollars or less. its no where near the best either.

yes but the average chip will need 70-100 more voltage. also why limit yourself right off the bat.

EDIT: 70-100 thousands sorry used to saying 100 as in 100 thousandths. so 70-100mv
