Soundmax and channel phantoming

hi, i have a problem with my sound card it's soundmax . when i use 4 speakers settings for games in all of games i don't hear anything from rear speakers. so i set the settings on 5.1 and uncheck center and subwoofer and use win 7's channel phantoming to hear a 5.1 sound through 4 speakers and had no problem since i installed soundmax drivers. in enhancements tap in speaker configuration i no longer see channel phantoming option soundmax replaces it's own settings and makes them gone.
so is there another way to enable channel phantoming in win 7? or fix 4 speakers rear no sound issue?
