This is my friends pc config.
Processor - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Quad core 3.2GHz
Motherboard - ASUS M4A785TD-V-EVO
Graphics Card - Onboard ATI Radeon HD4200
RAM - 2GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM
HDD - 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12
Cabinet - XTech mid tower cabinet
CoolerMaster 120mm Green LED power fan + CoolerMaster 2000rpm chasis fan

I was planning on buying a similar build but without the onboard graphics card for the same budget coz i mainly use it for gaming. any sugestions on mobo, GPU combo? or any other configs with similar price/performance ratio?
oh and i have an lcd monitor with 1080p capability in case anyone wants to know.

Honestly It looks pretty good. As far as graphics go The HD 4200 IGP is likely not enough for gaming, you may want to look at getting a HD 4670 or HD 4770 for right now. Otherwise go right to an HD5770. Hope that helps.

I guess i could go for a HD 4770 but that would mean i have to get a cheaper mobo.
I am willing to spend around 200$ - 250$ on the GPU and MoBo.
Sorry i didnt mention this before.

I would mostly use my PC for gaming and watching HD videos.
Also it would be good if the MoBo had that crossfire capability as i might add another card in the future.

So any good combination of GPU/MoBo for this price range?
