I have a HP e9220y that I have installed an ATI 5770 in. I currently have one monitor out through DVI and the other through a DVI to VGA converter. I want to use the 2 monitors and a plasma TV using eyefinity. Will the Dell Active DisplayPort to DVI adapter (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Cables/prod...) work with my computer even though it's an HP?

Actually you only need a passive displayport to DVI adapter if you are using a singlelink DVI connection. (ie under 1920x1200).

IF you read through the Eyefinity technical brief you will see on page 8:
http://www.amd.com/us/Documents/ATI_Eyefinity_Technolog...

"If only one or two DVI/HDMI monitors are attached through a DisplayPort connector, then only simple
passive adapters are required. With a passive adapter the GPU outputs the display signal required for
the monitor with no conversion occurring within the adapter itself."
